Welcome to Ms. Gutierrez's
English Language Arts Teacher's Website
"My hope emerges from those places of struggle where I witness individuals positively transforming their lives and the world around them. Educating is always a vocation rooted in hopefulness. As teachers we believe that learning is possible, that nothing can keep an open mind from seeking after knowledge and finding a way to know."

Thank you for visiting the digital teaching portfolio section of my teacher's website!
This digital portfolio is an organized and intentional collection of artifacts that demonstrate my proficiency in utilizing educational technology in the classroom. You will find lesson plans that incorporate technology, reviews of online resources that may be helpful in teaching English Language Arts in the secondary school setting, as well as other resources.
This digital portfolio has been created specifically to fulfill the educational technology requirement of the Single Subject Credential Program of California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) as part of the ETEC 411 computer technology assessment course taught by Prof. Melvin Cobb.
